Bonfires and Recreational Fires

Recreational fires are subject to fire restrictions within each county. While a permit for a recreational bonfire in an enclosed fire pit is not required, it is still highly recommended. Please see the guidelines for more information.

Fire Bans

Roaring Fork Fire Rescue is located in Eagle and Pitkin Counties. The sheriffs of each county are responsible for initiating or rescinding fire bans. Please direct any questions to the Sheriff’s office in your county.
